I have the s5 active g870a 1ang3 baseband. I wanna try more roms. Just got this phone. But only couple say s5a or active. Found one that says g870a but the rom is based off of a different baseband.

My question is what roms can I use. Does baseband matter? Can I install rom that says active supported but doesn't state model? I tried using rom slot cause i didn't wanna mess with the stock rom. But gave me corrupt data when booted so now using stock slot.

I would like to find a lollipop rom. I really liked that on my g2. I loved the battery life and features on the lollipop rom I ran on my LG g2.

Google Play Services, Location active - battery eater LG G3 topic

Hi,
I've disabled my Location and Google Play Services battery consumption reduced.
I've noticed that every time when I unlocked the phone, the system tries to access GPS - I can see for 1 second the the location symbol appears in the notification toolbar.

Previously I owned a G2 and didn't have the issue. When you unlock the screen the phone doesn't try to start GPS, the location symbol doesn't apper in the notification toolbar.

I don't know if is a Lollipop issue or a bug in LG G3 software.
It is stupid and drains battery fast.

I want to keep the Location active because of geotagging photo information or for using googlemasps. But it is annoying to start manually the location when using this.
I hope there is a workaround to this issue.

Guys have you check out PIPO W5 its 175 USD now on aliexpress and really I think is a game changer because it has active stylus rumoured come from hanvon.

Any of you have experience with the device?

SVI Settings: Active contrast adjustment? topic

There a hidden activity called SVI Settings on the 306SH, from the vague language it looks to be a switch for active contrast adjustment for the display. Currently I have the display in Natural mode so I don't think for me the difference will be as noticeable with it disabled.

Are there any widgets that show the number of apps running and when you click on it it opens up to the task manager like the one for samsung devices? I've tried countless task managers in the app store but none of them offer a widget like samsung's.

Hey, I am originally just looking to add a Turkish language for a device I just purchased for my dad. But all options require rooting. I followed towelroot and activeroot. Neither worked.

So my question is, is there a way to add languages without rooting? If not, how am i going to root my device and add more languages?
