[Q] Knock Code and Certificates topic

Ok hi guys I was wondering if there is a workaround/hack so that I can install certificates on my G3 and use the knock code?

If you don't know as soon as you enter certificate details on your phone the knock code is unavailable for 'security reasons'.

Thanks in advance and as an aside, why can you not use the knock code with a certificate installled; on the iPhone you can have no password at all and still have the certificate.
