unlocking BL and updating . topic

Hello all i am planning to unlock my z1 BL via official way but i want to us somethings.If i unlock my BL and then sony dicides to unlease 5.0 and i suddenly decide to udpate to 5.0 will it be possible or i must wait for custom kernel for 5.0 ?
