Stuck in recovery topic

I had just installed a rom, and apps were downloading, when I saw a message that I had a system update. Foolishly, I attempted to install the update, and the phone restarted into TWRP. I can't get out of recovery; I've tried to do a restore, and it seems to be working, but when I reboot, it goes straight to recovery.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
