[ROOT ] on US LTE NVIDIA SHIELD TABLET topic

i figured a way to get root access on the us shield tablet with lte

ok here we go..

***i'm not resposible for any damage done to your device***

first thing
when on kikkat (the update before the 5.0.0 ) you MUST HAVE an unlocked bootloader, have custom recovery (i had cwm), and root access!! VERY IMPORTANT!!

what i did after that was first have all my adb stuff set up on my pc.. since i did long ago you have to search for the info to do it.
i dont remmeber .im new to this stuff sorry..lol

next i downloaded the lollipop 5.0.1 ota to my us lte shield tablet

then i went into my custom recovery and backed up my device then installed the ota through my cwm custom recovery

next when my tablet started up i went into bootloader mode to see if my bootloader was lock. mine was unlocked.

after that i followed the thread here

i took a chance cause it said it was only for the wifi version and it didn't say it was for lollipop 5.0.1
but it work!!
