[Q] Support for Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy (BLE / BT Smart) topic

Hey there,

the phones specifications state it supports Bluetooth 4.0.
Does the hardware also support Bluetooth LE?

I understand I'd have to use an Android 4.3 ROM or higher. Will Bluetooth LE work with every 4.3, 4.4 or even 5.0 ROM?
