[Q] S2 T989 no power - dead short topic

Hello all,

Son's T-Mobile S2 T989 died in the middle of use today. After lots of research on the net, I found the battery terminals to be shorted. Found I9000 threads showing how to remove shorted USB OTG cap and IC but T989 is different and I can't find the cap or IC. Have not been able to find T989 schematics in any threads or elsewhere.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...direction, schematic or pics of the cap/IC.
