From what I've read, you need s-off to install any rom/mod/kernel on HTC devices. And currently the only way of getting S-Off is to cough up 25 dollars for Sunshine.
The only feature that I miss from my old phone is DT2W.
So my questions would be:
1. Is Sunshine currently the only way to achieve S-Off? I know that rumrunner and moonshine's page is up, and doesn't say that it doesn't work. Firewater does
2. Any custom ROMs or kernel that give DT2W without being s-off
