[Q] [Q&A] Redmi Note 4G and HTC Desire 816 have same specs - Can swap ROMs? topic

I just saw that Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G and HTC Desire 816 have similar specs. Only difference I could see other than manufacturer is RAM (2Gb on note VS 1.5 Gb on Desire 816). My question is since they have same CPU, Chipset and GPU, can we install rom for Desire 816 on Redmi Note 4G?
