Hi all, I'm super psyched to have my glide running like a flagship modern smartphone basically, and did loads of mods from the awesome community, and it's now set up nearly perfectly!! However the ONE thing I've found that still doesn't work (and much more works now than did in 2.2..) is PayPal Here and other fobs which go into the headphone jack to swipe credit cards. For me its occasional but very useful when it's the only/best way of transferring money, so it'd be nice to have!!
Any ideas why it's incompatible even with 4.4.4 upgrade? I've noticed the physical male jack on the bottom of the card reader doesn't insert fully into the headphone jack and protrudes maybe 2mm... so that's one possibility (hardware issue).. any other ideas?
Phone setup: Glide rooted w OmniRom, GPS Mod, Bubor QWERY-LED 1.3, Hacker's Keyboard mod, delete latinime (swipe) kb fix, carefully picked non-NEON apps, auto-update off, and now backed up!! :)
