[Q] How to root & unlock bootloader on ubuntu? topic

Can someone move this to questions? Sorry about that.

I've searched for how to unlock the bootloader on ubuntu but only found guides for windows. However I did find this guide on nvidia's developer site. https://developer.nvidia.com/sites/d...very-Image.txt

To unlock the bootloader it said to the connect the device to the laptop and in the terminal enter "fastboot oem unlock". After I did that it says < waiting for device >. Anyone know what to do?

Also how do I root it? Same with the bootloader, I've only found instructions for windows. Thanks!
