Any way to make Gear 2 work with Android 5.0 Lollipop on rooted Verizon LG G3? topic

Has anybody figure it out yet how to make rooted LG G3 with Lollipop (ROM Vanir Commotio) work with the Gear 2? I like the new ROM although I keep coming back to Kit Kat because it does not work with my Gear 2.
