[Q] Battery problem... quite bad. topic

I have a Galaxy S3 that I bought 2 years ago in the Samsung Store. Unlocked, of course. I have never rooted it, or done anything like that to the phone. I have been always careful with it.
But I have been having this battery problem for almost 1 year and I'm very tired...
Everytime I try to charge my phone it just odesn't charge, it discharges or charges veeeeeeery sloooowly. No matter if I do it with the phone on or off. When it charges normally I get so happy I could die
Things I have tried:
-getting a new battery
-getting a new USB cable and adapter.
-checking the charging port (sorry I'm not an english speaker so I dunno how to say that)
-erasing all data and leaving my phone as if it was new
-EVERYTHING

What I'm doing to use it:
I bought a universal battery charger. I got 2 batteries. I charge one, put it on my phone while I charge the other. Each battery charges in 8 hours or so, sometimes 9. Yes, I'm suffering. Please, help me. I have no money to get a new phone, plus, I'm underage. I'm a girl.

Stuck at black HTC Logo topic

Hey,
Today I tried to install stock and downloaded an RUU while I had my older ones still there.
While I was trying to install it through the exe it showed Error 170, I tried it again so the same. I tried using my old RUU, even that showed me the same problem.
So I decided to copy the zip from the exe and flash it manually.
I copied the zip and got to the bootloader and then typed "fastboot OEM rebootRUU"
Then, "fastboot flash zip ROM.zip
It ran with some errors and the green bar on the phone stopped close by to the end. I waited for long and it still didn't move further so I decided to flash it all over again.
So this time I typed "fastboot OEM rebootRUU" and I get a black HTC symbol with 4 error symbol each in one corner of the screen. It goes no further than this. Such here.
Any help is much appreciated.

KitKat/Lolipop rom with fully working GPS? topic

Hello. up until about 6 months ago I kept my nexus fully stock. I decided to try kitkat and installed LiquidSmooth. very nice room but quite buggy. GPS was broken and never really worked. went back to stock to check for a software issue but it worked perfectly. right now I've using CM 12 (beta) and it works quite nicely but again, GPS is broken.
My question is, is there any other rom with perfectly working GPS? or should I just go back to JellyBean?

[Q] Cyanogenmod functions in stock Kit Kat topic

Hi, sorry if this is the wrong place to post it, but is there anyway to put those flashlight and sound options in the new quick setting menu (the one with brightness, wifi, etc in the notification bar) just like it is in cyanogenmod?

I don't really want to install cyanogenmod, cuz my phone is working great for now, but these two functionalities were too good to lose.

[Q] Xperia SP C5303 how to unlock bootloader topic

So I have Xperia SP C5303 rooted with towelroot and have xposed installed. And now I want to install a cm11 Rom or something similar. I found some for locked bootloader, but I think its better to unlock it and install Rom normally.

So my question is how to unlock my Xperia bootloader if it says "allowed:NO" but not sim-locked?
Some pic's I think that can help.

I bought a Nexus 7 today went though all the updates got to 4.4 then checked for updates it told me I was up to date, I know I can just unlock the bootloader and update that way.

thought id ask since it must have a reason to being cancelled

I bought a nexus 6 att version... Only calling and text work on my verizon sim...Unlock network sim code keeps poping up..Do 8 need to purchase a code from somewhere or is there another way to get data to work? If i have to purchase code can someone point me in the direction were to get the code and it actually work..

[Q] D802 not recognized with USB topic

Good evening,

I bought a second-hand LG G2 32go, and I realized that it had been rotted by the previous owner (while I had asked him if the telephone was "blank" of any root).
In brief, the telephone is never detected on any PC (tried on different 2, with various drivers) by USB (I just manage to see it in WiFi).

In normal mode (phone started), with the good parameters (Synchronization Media and Debugging USB): no LG tools detect it. I tried with several cables, several PC, several drivers.
I have access to the download mode (it is here I realized that it was rooted): still not detected by Flash Tool.
Hard Reset tried unsuccessfully.

The Android version of the phone is 4.4.2 stock, Pit version 3.4.0, Build KOT49l. D80220b and software version D80220b-EUR-XX.

I'm appealing to you because in my researches, I found cases of defective USB cables, bad configuration, or still " I found, that works !" but which do not share the solution :)
I had a S3 before, with whom I spent hours of research, but with G2, I am too fast submerged by links and too numerous solutions and I do not find myself there any more.

Then would you have an idea or a solution to help me ? I just want that phone to be detected by USB.

I want to export my custom watch faces from watchmaker to store on my google drive but cant do it. Everytime I click on share/export on the app, it asks where i want to share it, and when i click google drive, it just saves it as a jpeg file and not the .watch file. Anyone know how to save watch faces in the .watch format?? thanks in advanced

[Q] upgrade to lollipop with 0℅ battery fault topic

My nexus 7 has 0 percent battery fault which I have been living with, however just got the over the air lollipop upgrade notification, clicked install and got the low battery warning and does not install. Is there a way to fix this, I have tried to fix the 0 battery fault but nothing seems to work.

[Q] Multi-app Screensaver topic

I was wondering if there is a screensaver app that can run multiple apps. So I have my old Nexus 7 sitting in my desk drawer since I got the Nexus 9, and what i want to do with my old N7 is mount it on my kitchen wall. I'm curious is there is a screensaver app though that I can run multiple apps on it. So the screen saver can cycle between things like my calendar, weather, stocks, breaking news, photos, etc... Maybe swap each thing like every minute or two. Does anyone know if something like this exists?
I know i can get some widgets to through on the home screen, but I was looking for something that runs on the full screen.

[Q] LG G2 D800 - Gone Progressively worse.. Looks like completely bricked topic

Hi,

I have a LG G2 D800 (ATT Black version) which I was running with cm 11 for a long time.. Last week I got curious and tried to install CM12 on it and that's where started my nightmare.

To begin with, I think I flashed the wrong twrp version (d802) instead of d800.. So I was stuck for a while.. I finally was able to recover from that and Installed CM12. The install went ok, but the phone would freeze and turn off.. It wouldn't turn back on unless I did a soft reset.. I tried a few times and then gave up.. With the nandroid backup that I had, I went back to cm11, but the problem started to follow me in CM11 as well.. The phone was constantly rebooting.. Sometimes the phone would stay on for 2-3 hours and sometimes it wouldn't stay on for 2 minutes.. So I got frustrated and went thru' different threads and finally went back to Stock Rom using the LGFlashtool method.. In stock rom, the phone booted up fine, but the rebooting issue started happening there as well.. The phone was definitely much stable under stock rom than CM11/CM12 but it won't still power off all of a sudden and I could go a couple of hours before noticing that it had turned off.. Frustrated with it, I started all over again to root and install twrp and that's when it went from Bad to worse.. Something happened with my TWRP flash and I was not able to go to recovery or download... I was stuck...

I tried several methods. 1 ) Using ubuntu was my first try.. I followed the initial steps (ls devices and gdisk -l command) and after I ran the first step (dd if=/home/med/Desktop/sbl1.img of=/dev/sdb2), my phone went into fastboot mode and ubuntu couldn't recognize my device. after that.. I couldn't run the remaining commands..
2) since I was stuck in fastboot, I followed the fastboot method from another thread by downloading the fastboot and laf.img.... The phone was responding and said recovery erased successfully, but it kept going back to fastboot.. When I tried a different laf.img file, that's when the phone rebooted and now wouldn't turn on at all..

No LG image, no recovery, no response.. I've tried all button combinations (holding vol down and power, power alone, all 3 buttons, vol+ and power)... nothing happens with the phone... Windows doesn't recognize the phone.. It says 'lg g2 qhsusb_bulk' but that's pretty much it..

Atleast until today morning I had a LG image flashing that tells me that the issue is a software / partition issue.. Now I don't know if I have fried something..


I bought the fone in november 2013 and hence its out of warranty.. . I'm not eligible for upgrade till November and I'm stuck with using a iphone 4s (ouch...) until then... It sucks big time to go from the g2 to the 4s... any thoughts or ideas?
