COMFIRMED to work on SPH-l710T. I used SPCUtility.apk to final get my MSL that I been Reading about the past 4 days and couldnt get it till NOW!!! I attached the .apk for you to download. Im not sure if this is NEW to anyone else but Im SUPER HAPPY it did infact work for me. Im with Boost Mobile. 4.4.2 -NF4 ROOTED with Philz Recovery. took me days of searching till I came across this.
I ran the SPCUtility.apk and it gave me my MSL (SPC) number with out problem! Then follow a guide on changing your APN TYPE..... I tried and it freaking WORKS IM SOO HAPPY.... Follow this thread almost to the T. I had to play and search in different place for the exact setting but it was very easy! By adding the following option ,Dun fixed my hotspot. It was very simple. I had to find the APN TYPE option but once I found it was a text box and all I had to add was ,Dun and hit ok. ROBOOTED and it work that easy! Let me find the link to the guide or copy and paste them. AGAIN I followed them alittle bit till I found the exact option APN TYPE. Go to dial pad and type ##3282# and go to MORE... scroll mdown to LTEAPN SETTINGS... select APN2 LTE internet.. MINE WAS ALREADY HIGHLIGHTED JUST SO THATS ALSO NOTED. ALREADY HAD THE GREEN CIRCLE SELECTED.
About half way down and select APN type and add ,Dun and select OK. REBOOT AND PROFIT !!!
