I am Mark, a representative from Razer’s Developer Relations team for our latest wearable – the Razer Nabu. I’m posting here to let you guys know that our wearable is available on an open SDK and we hope that you guys will be interested to sign up for our Developer Program. We also have a Reward Scheme for devs that allows you to receive up to 0 worth of RazerStore vouchers! This of course, is dependent on the quality of the app and level of integration.
Here is a quick summary of what the Razer Nabu can do
1) Receive and display notifications from your phone on the private screen
2) Activity Tracker – counts your calories, steps, distanced travelled and sleep analysis
3) Pulse – detect nearby Nabu users with Razer’s proprietary band to band technology
4) High-five – Exchanging contacts, data and triggering events with a natural social gesture
The possibilities are endless with the Razer Nabu. Apps can now take a whole new dimension by merging your offline life with your online life. The amount of sleep, calories, distance travelled or even social actions such as meet up with friends can now be exchanged for in-game bonuses.
Our initial launch has been a huge success with 10,000 units sold in under 25 seconds exclusively to our hardcore fans! As an approved developer, you’ll be eligible to purchase the Nabu Developer Edition at the special price of .99US.
