[Q] Troubleshooting In input text in the messaging applications topic

I am unable to input text in the messaging applications. The onscreen keyboard shows up but nothing shows up. plz help me resolve this problem,My phone is samsung galaxy SL I9003 Gingerbread 2.3.6 :crying: :mad: :(
