[Q] Keyboard dead spots on 4.4.2 topic

I have a new sharp Aquos 306sh and no matter what keyboard I use there's dead spots or sever lagging. So I have two questions
1. Is there anything I can do about this?
2. Does anyone know of a rooting method?
Framaroot doesn't work.
