[Q] Bracketron o2 vent mount and Qi charging.. confused topic

I have a Bracketron o2 vent mount which I do like. On the packaging however, it specifically states not to be used with Qi wireless charging. I emailed them and asked why this is. This was their response:

With the battery pack, you may have to have the plate outside of your case because it would not fit inside your case.

Otherwise, you should be just fine.

So I'm guessing that as long as I have the metal plate at the furthermost point, then it's okay? I want to use the official charging back cover. I don't plan on using Qi in the car with this mount... Probably get an AirDock for that...
