[Q] Smart stay not working topic

Anyone else having trouble with smart stay? Mine is useless. Came from a note 2 which it worked very well on. Eye lights on notification panel then screen dims and goes off.Can't get screen to remain on, phone in light, face in light, phone in shade, face in light. Even stood under light, no go. Any ideas?? Thanks in advance
