cant save themes on chomp or language packs on swiftkey topic

i tried to install cyanogenmod and idk if it even worked since theres no signs to say i did it. anyways, when i try to save a theme in chomp sms or download a language pack for swiftkey keyboard i get an error. i have a galaxy s3 at&t on 4.4.4

Cannot apply themes with themer topic

I have tried Ex Themer and Android Theme Engine and can not get them to apply any of the themes. Anyone have an idea as to why this is? I have used Ex Themer in the past with success.
