Hello,
I have a Telus SGHi747m running [ROM] [4.4.4] SlimKat d2att (at&t) Stable 9.0. I noticed that the battery drained in 4 hours today with 1 hour of screen on time, so in addition to refreshing the ROM I decided to try a non-stock kernel. I flashed the leankernel: minimalistic kernel via philz, and upon rebooting the phone I found that I no longer had service. Wifi and everything else worked fine. I tried to flash a new modem to fix this but I imagine I tried the wrong one because the flash kept aborting. I rectified this by restoring a stock nandroid backup and flashing SlimKat over again.
I am still interested in flashing a new kernel, but I don't know how to do this while still getting service in BC, Canada on Telus. Can anyone tell me how I can do this?
Thanks!
