Once again it looks like Samsung disabled the phone on the North American (SM-T705W) LTE models,
And yet they state the following on the Canada and North American websites:
"Send and receive voice calls while multitasking on the LTE model."
I spoke with a rep and they said that the reason you cant make calls on North American (SM-T705W) models is that "It's a tablet" but after guiding the rep through the google search results for the above quoted text, the rep THEN stated that you CAN make phone calls with the UK and Hong Kong versions, and that the above quoted statement only applies to Sidesync 3.0?
What gives Samsung? 0+tax and you disable the phone functionality again on North American versions like with the Galaxy Tab GT-P1000M?
Do we need to root and Apply EU/UK firmware to the SM-T705W to provide this functionality, perhaps in case of emergencies?
Has anyone been successful at doing this on the SM-T705W and are there Radio files available for U.S. and Canadian carriers?
