Hello,
Have the strangest problem. Have been using the shield in combination with an AX88178 Ethernet adapter without any problems. Sometimes out of the blue, when the shield is idling and physically attached to the network my network dies. The second I disconnect the shield, everything is well again.
I can't successfully recreate this problem, but it happens every blue moon. I contacted the vendor and replaced the Ethernet adapter, but that did not help, the problem randomly occurred even after the replacement.
The last time this happened I took a look at the adapter and the "blinkie lights" were amber and blinking like crazy... which seems to indicate network package collisions... but there is nothing going on, no activity on the shield. Once I wake the shield and browse, everything is fine again.
Is there a hardware logging program on the play store anybody knows of? I would like to get to the bottom of this problem. Anybody have this problem? Am I the only one? :crying::crying::crying:
Thanks for any input,
