Devs,
Need your help for a bit of knowledge to be used on a linux cell platform. I am looking for a raw formatted MMS, headers/protocals etc.
I have an N900 that I love dearly as it runs true linux with tons of extras not seen on modern cell phones (FM transmitter, TV-out, SD card, IR port, wireless capable of packet injection, etc). Sadly Nokia did not include MMS programming.
Luckily the N900 community created a way to send/receive MMS, but like everything else it is having its issues. The likely culprit is that it still sends using MMS 1.0.
So with a raw formatted mms, we may be able to update our app/program and keep this unique and interesting phone fully operational for a few years.
You can see the discussion at talk.maemo.org in the software section, the thread is fMMS
Please help fellow linux users
