[Q] Need help installing CM11 on Virgin Mobile S3 (d2vmu) topic

I have a Galaxy S3 on Virgin Mobile that is unrooted and on the latest NJ7 build. I would like to install Cyanogenmod 11 on it but I am very confused. I am not sure which recovery to use because some guides use PhilZ but I prefer TWRP. Also, do I need to modify the zip for CM to detect my model (d2vmu not d2spr) and use a APN fix zip file to get me on the network and use voicemail? Any help would be appreciated.
