[Q] Losing Root After ROM Flash topic

I've lost root twice after flashing ROMs in TWRP. Here is the process I'm going through:

1. Flash 10b using the LGFlashTool.


2. Root using StumpRoot. Verify successful Root via RootChecker/SuperSU/BusyBox.


3. Use Flashify to install TWRP bumped (2.8.0.0, then upgrade to 2.8.3.0 using the recovery.img in this link w/ Flashify: http://forum.xda-developers.com/veri...8-2-0-t2966014)


4. Reboot and verify root again.


5. Boot into TWRP, wipe (tried factory reset and advanced cache/system/boot/data methods)


6. Install ROM (tried Resurrection 5.2.8 and Illusion 3.0).


7. Reboot, lose root.

I am new to the G3, but I've done many flashes on several devices throughout the years thanks to the folks on XDA. If someone could point out my error it would be much appreciated!
