Issue with s-view flip cover (non official) topic

I recently bought a non official flip cover for my s4 mini LTE (GT-I9195), and although the on/off display function works perfectly (without any third party apps), I can't get the information to show on the small window. Is anyone else having this problem?
I'm on the latest CM snapshot and using nova launcher.
