Cpu tunings topic

Guys i wonder if i could change cpu settings and make it work with single core when not needed not always using all 4 cores. I don't know how to put it together. I mean when i don't need the phone just use a single core of cpu and when I'm working with it add more cores one after another. Not all 4 cores always work at the same time and the same frequencies. It's just a theory in my mind i think if it work it could save more battery.
I'm using dn4 v2
