Changing cpu settings for Motorola defy (MB525, CM 7.2) topic

Hi! I'm wondering if it is possible to set the cpu clock for the Motorola defy at 800 mhz instead of either 600 or 1000 mhz. I really dont want to overclock since it seems to create heat and battery drainage.
